The following photos of the moon, probably my very first photo attempts, were taken with a digicam Nikon Coolpix 900s and my Bresser Venus 76/700 AZ in April and in May 1999. I held the camera simply against the eyepiece of the telescope. This technique has been named "1:50 technique", because you have to take 50 photos in order to get one sharp photo...
Note: The best time to take photos of the moon is between the first and the third quarter, because then there are shadows on the moon. At full moon the pictures are "flat" and look washed out.
