Introduction

On this page, I present some sample close-up images that I took with Novoflex Noflexar 35mm f/3.5 macro lens at the Leica M (Typ 240) in live view mode.

Novoflex Noflexar 35mm f/3.5 Macro Lens

The following test photos with a real-object were taken with the Novoflex Noflexar 35mm f/3.5 macro lens. They led to slightly lower magnifications than my "ruler test shots" (not shown on this site):

Car model shot with Quenox extension ring, 4 click-stops extended, and distance set closest (MiOW = 46 mm; 1:1.3)

Car model shot with Quenox extension ring, with 4 click-stops extended, and distance set to infinity (MiOW = 54 mm; 1:1.5)

Car model shot with 4 click-stops extended and distance set closest (MiOW = 67 mm; 1:1.9)

Car model shot with 4 click-stops extended and distance set to infinity (MiOW = 87 mm; 1:2.4)

The resulting magnifications are a little bit lower than the ones that I calculated from the test photos. This may have different reasons, and there enough reasons why the model calculations are not very precise. Nevertheless, they are consistent with the other data...
The car model is about 3.5 cm (35 mm) long

Overall Summary

The Novoflex Noflexar 35mm f/3.5 macro lens does not achieve breathtaking magnification factors, but for many puposes this is OK for me. There are also quite a few sample photos on this site that I took with this lens - so see for yourself:
