This page presents my very first sample photos that demonstrate the close-up facilities of the Sony RX10 M3. Although the camera has a macro mode (allowing shots from a few cm at wide angle and 92 cm at the tele end, resulting in an object size of about a credit card), I would not call these photos "macros" but "close-ups."
These sample photos were taken in December 2018 and January 2019.
I take mostly close-up photos at a focal length of 500 - 600 mm (equiv.). Therefore, the following demonstration photos from the first weeks of my ownership were all taken at long focal lengths. In addition, the photos were not taken at the shortest possible distance, but at various distances, according to the needs of the photographed objects.
