updates.
Overview of Firmware Updates
So far, the following firmware updates were published:
- Firmware update Ver.1.30 (and older updates) for DSC-RX100M4 (Mac/Windows),
Release date: unknown
Benefits and improvements:
- The camera can now record XAVC S format with compatible SDHC and
SDXC cards
- When shooting movies in XAVC S format, it requires SD Speed Class10,
or UHS Speed Class U1 or faster. (When recording in 100 Mbps or

MPK-URX100A:

'Flash Off' mode added for when the Flash unit is popped-up.
- Improves overall stability of the camera.
Comments
Since I cannot find a version history of firmware updates for
the Sony RX100 M4, I subsume all older updates under version 1.30, which
at least seems to have existed (as can be found on the page for firmware update
2.00...).
