Sample Photos

On this page, I present photos to illustrate how you can let the sun have rays, and which aperture should be set for this purpose. In my opinion, it is best to set aperture to f/16, but there may be reasons that this is not possible. I would like to suggest that you can open aperture to f/11, but better would be to open it only to f/12 - as the series suggest that was taken with 1/3 f-stop steps. Please take a look at the sample photos below to form your own opinion on this.

For investigating this matter, I took several series of shots directly into the sun, some at full f-stop steps, and one at 1/3 f-stop steps (series 3)
