On this page I collect my observations of the barred spiral galaxy NGC 4559 (Koi Fish Galaxy) in the constellation Coma Berenices.
The barred spiral galaxy NGC 4559 (Koi Fish Galaxy) in the constellation Coma Berenices has large regions where new stars are born.
Nearby (2°), there is the irregular Needle Galaxy NGC 4565, one of the most prominent and famous edge-on spiral galaxies in the sky.
