On this page I collect my observations of the globular star cluster M 14 (NGC 6402) in the constellation Ophiuchus.
The globular star cluster M 14 is located in the constellation Ophiuchus/Serpent Bearer and the third brightest globular star cluster in this constellation.
M 14 (NGC 6402)

Find: M 14 in Ophiuchus/Serpent Bearer is located to the left of the connecting line between Sabik and Cebalrai (about one third down from Cebalrai; see sky map above)
Identify: Since there is no other globular star cluster in the vicinity, the identification of M 14 should not be a problem.
