On this page I collect my observations of the galactic emission nebula Sh2-274 (Lower's Nebula) in constellation Orion.

Introduction

The galactic emission nebula Sh2-274 (Lower's Nebula) in constellation Orion is extended and therefore faint. It was discovered by Harold Lower and his son Charles on a photo and cataloged by Stewart Sharpless in his catalog of nebulae published in 1959.
