On this page I collect my observations of the planetary nebula NGC 6543 (Cat's Eye Nebula) in the constellation Draco.
The planetary nebula NGC 6543 (Cat's Eye Nebula) in the constellation Draco is very small in the eVscope. Structurally, it is one of the most complex of the known nebulae. High-resolution images taken by the Hubble Space Telescope revealed unusual structures such as knots, jets and arc-like features. Visually, it resembles the cat's eye and was named accordingly.
