On this page I collect my observations of the spiral galaxy IC 2574 (Coddington's Nebula) in the constellation Ursa Major.

 

Introduction

The spiral galaxy IC 2574, also known as Coddington's Nebula, in the constellation Ursa Major is a dwarf galaxy and an outlying member of the M 81 group. It is not too far away from the Bode galaxies M 81 and M 82.
